Tell the Senate to pass the Heroes Act today!

The Heroes Act would:

·         Set up a Heroes Fund for hazard pay. Essential workers have risked their lives to make sure our communities have access to food, gas, PPE, healthcare and more. Our UFCW 227 family and all of these workers deserve hazard pay.

·         Direct OSHA to have enforceable workplace safety standards. This would help prevent employers from retaliating against workers who report problems.  

·         Slow down the line speeds at food processing plants, so that we aren’t increasing the danger to people working to provide food in our communities.

The Hero’s act would also give more money for testing, food security, housing security, and directly to Americans. As well as helping preserve health coverage after losing a job.

Elected officials need to hear from their constituents like you, to make them more likely to pass legislation that will help you.
