#MemberMonday Joey Fulkerson

Today’s #MemberMonday spotlights Joey Fulkerson from Glenmore Distillery, an 8 year UFCW 227 member. Joey rallied the community when another Glenmore member Blake Gatton unexpectedly passed away leaving 2 small daughters behind. With the help of the community Joey got together a golf scramble that hosted 51 teams forcing them to divide it into 2 sessions. Along with the scramble there was a raffle with items donated from local businesses. The fundraiser was a huge success and was able to donate $33,000 to Blakes daughters. This is certainly a wonderful story about banning together to provide for a family who had a tragic loss.
