Hispanic Heritage Month September 15- October 15
This month Americans will celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. We take this time to recognize some of the many Americans with Hispanic Heritage who have contributed to our communities, workplaces, culture, and our labor movement.
We have gathered ideas to help you find ways to celebrate and learn with your family this month:
The National Archives- documents, films, series, books, and more that highlight Hispanic Heritage.
National Parks Service- this website has information on Hispanic Heritage sites, and experiences.
Library of Congress- In a collection of podcasts, explore the cultures of Spain, Portugal, Latin America, and the Hispanic community in the United States.
National Museum of the American Latino- Plan your in-person or virtual visit to celebrate the Latino Community.
Experiencing War, Stories from Veterans- visit this site to learn more about the loyalty, bravery, and persistence in the face of adversity in these Hispanic American Veterans stories.
Click here to see a collection of influential labor leaders we shared in 2021.
We hope you will join us in paying tribute to Hispanic Americans and their many contributions to our communities, country and union family.
