Social Distancing and what that looks like
What is social and physical distancing?
Social distancing is deliberately increasing the physical space between people to avoid spreading illness. Staying at least six feet away from other people lessens your chances of catching COVID-19. While we know this may not be as easy in the workplace as essential workers it should be followed as much as possible especially during breaks, meals and at home.
How should you practice social distancing?
Reduce the number of people you are around – the fewer, the better, but especially avoid groups.
Stay at least 6 feet away from people not in your household.
Avoid touching your face, and wash your hands or use hand sanitizer as much as possible.
Work in ways that minimize close contact
Minimize groups over 10
Clean your workspace frequently
