What Can United Way do for You?

United Way has countless services that can help you and your loved ones. A simple call to 211 or visit to UnitedWay.org can help you find utility assistance, educational opportunities, mental health support, volunteer opportunities, legal aid information and more. 

UFCW 227 has worked with the Metro United Way and Bluegrass United Way for over 30 years partnering to support our communities and causes to help working families. UFCW 227 members have also raised thousands in donations to support their important programs.  

United Way is there for you and your family as a one-stop resource when you face challenges or big changes. The categories United Way branches try to fill are basic needs, community services, education & learning, employment & income support, government  & legal, health care, individual & family support, maternal health & wellness, mental health & addictions.

Our union family believes in sticking together so you know someone always has your back. That can come from our union contracts, from our UFCW 227 Foundation, and from our community of great partners.
